SPA Etiquette

   

The J.K. SPA is a calm and relaxing environment. We thank you for contributing to the quietness of our Wellness Centre by speaking softly and switching off your mobile phones. We would like to remind you that pets are not allowed in our SPA, neither it is permitted to bring food or drinks.


What to Wear

We suggest you come to the SPA wearing bathrobe and slippers provided in your room.
In case of need, we will be pleased to provide them at the SPA. During your spa treatment, it is recommended that you experience body services wearing the disposable undergarments provided by us. Our therapists are professionally trained and will ensure a level of comfort by appropriately draping areas of the body that are not a focus of the treatment.


Storing Valuables
We recommend that you leave your valuable personal items in your guest room safe, as we cannot accept responsibility for loss or theft of articles within the SPA.


Special Health Considerations

If you have health concerns or are pregnant, please be sure to notify our staff when booking your treatment. Some treatments might not be suggested/applied.


Spa Treatment Selection
A full menu of spa treatment offerings is listed in your guest room or our website.
If you feel you would like assistance in choosing a service, we recommend calling the spa directly (dial 317)
and speak to one of our knowledgeable staff members. We recommend scheduling your spa services in advance.


Maximum Benefit of your Massage/Treatment
We suggest arriving 20/25 minutes beforehand.
10 minutes of our sauna will help to loosen your muscles followed by a cold aromatic shower and 10 minutes of relaxation.


During the treatment
Your expectations and preferences are our concern. Please do feel free to inform your therapist if you are uncomfortable with anything throughout your treatment – pressure/music/temperature/etc.
We in the SPA will make an adjustment immediately for your comfort.


Late Arrival
We kindly ask you to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your appointment. Arriving late will unfortunately limit the time allotted for your treatment; it will lessen the effectiveness and more importantly your pleasure and enjoyment.
As a courtesy to all our clients, all treatments are completed as scheduled. Full charge for the service will apply.


Cancelling a Spa Reservation
We kindly ask you to give us 24 hours notice if you need to modify or cancel your appointment.  Bookings cancelled within 12 or less hours and "no shows" will be charged the full amount of the treatment reserved.

 

Alcoholic Beverages and Spas
We recommend that you do not consume alcohol during or immediately after your spa treatments.


Shaving
Generally, shaving is not recommended prior to any treatments or hair removal services. However, it is
recommended that men shave prior to a facial treatment, at least 2 hours before the scheduled
appointment time.
 
Age Minimum
Guests under the age of 16 have to be accompanied by an adult for having access to the sauna and steam bath. In case of booked treatments, they will be escorted directly into the treatment room.
Children are welcome to enjoy select hand, feet and face services, but access to other Spa facilities is restricted.


Gratuities

Our spa staff is dedicated to exceed your expectations and create a memorable spa experience. At J.K SPA
gratuities are never an obligation, however, if you do feel like it, you could leave it at the front desk of the spa.
 
Payment
We accept all major credit cards, traveller's checks and cash. As a guest of J.K Place hotel,
your spa services will be charged to your hotel room.


Feedback

If your experience at our SPA has not met your expectations, we request that you speak with the spa manager before leaving the wellness centre. If unavailable, please feel free to contact the SPA or the hotel reception to discuss the issue at a later date.
